Students raise funds for projects addressing homelessness
A huge thank you to the grade 6/7 SCORES in Action program from Kirkbride Elementary School for donating $2,200 to Surrey Homelessness & Housing Society.
These entrepreneurial students created colouring books to sell as a group project, donating the proceeds from this initiative to support people experiencing and at risk of homelessness in Surrey.
These amazing youth made the colouring books themselves, using their own artwork, and sold them to raise funds. They raised $2,200 for their community – such an inspirational example of young people working together and using their skills to help their community!
