Surrey motel is being transformed into sanctuary to help heal vulnerable women

Surrey Homelessness & Housing Society helped facilitate the transformation of Motel Hollywood to now become supportive housing for vulnerable women and girls, by providing Atira with an emergency grant of $75,000. Atira will operate the facility and provide 23 supportive housing units for at-risk women and girls, who are usually the victims of sex trafficking and abuse. Watch this heartfelt video on how this new facility will honor a young Surrey women, who died after overdosing in a tent back in 2016.
