$600,000 to 30 Projects for COVID-19 Response
In the fall, SHHS launched a second round of funding in response to the ongoing and emerging needs related to COVID-19. $350,000 was granted to 11 projects providing support for those experiencing homelessness and at risk of homelessness in Surrey. The call for proposals is now closed, and we are no longer accepting applications.
In the spring, SHHS granted approximately $250,000 to 19 projects as an urgent response to COVID-19. Grants were provided to assist with staff capacity needs, food programs and the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies. Thank you to our past and current grantees who are working on the front lines of supporting Surrey’s most vulnerable during the pandemic and always.
