Our Leading the Way Home Grants help organizations working to fight homelessness in Surrey bring their projects to life. This year, Surrey Homelessness and Housing Society will provide up to $250,000 in grants to fund local initiatives. Applications are now closed. Applicants will be invited to our grant announcement event on September 17, 2026. All are welcome. Invitations can be requested by emailing grants@surreyhomeless.ca.

A SHHS grant is helping Realistic Success Recovery Society complete renovations on a program house that will bring 10 substance use recovery beds for men and create administrative offices for this made-in-Surrey society.
During COVID, a dramatic spike in need led Storehouse Community Hub Society to rapidly expand its shelter and food bank. As the emergency subsided, Storehouse needed to upgrade its facility to meet fire safety regulations to keep operations running.
