Second Round of COVID-19 Funding Coming Soon
SHHS will be launching a second round of funding in the early fall of 2020 to support the ongoing and emerging needs related to COVID-19 of those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Surrey. More information regarding the upcoming call for proposals will be posted and available on our website soon. We invite community to keep checking this section of the website for updates or to contact us for more information.
In the spring, SHHS granted approximately $250,000 to 19 projects as an urgent response to COVID-19. Grants were provided to assist with staff capacity needs, food programs and the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies. Thank you to our past and current grantees who are working on the front lines of supporting Surrey’s most vulnerable during the pandemic and always.
